Paperfolding love letters

She said
I wish you would carry my letters beneath your silk garnments, very close to your skin, like a Japanese would.
Tomoko Fuse has the best paperfolding instructions for letter holders. I use Chinese rice paper, very lightly stamped with blossoming branches, flowers and buds, to fold intimate notes. I once caligraphed a poem by the VIth Dalai Lama on one of those sheets.

I like the transparency of folds over letters over coloured shapes for love.

Unfolding a letter must feel like opening buds.
